Harvey’s First (and Real) Birthday

It’s Harvey’s first birthday. He woke up all smiles in London, but we quickly rushed off to catch a train to Edinburg. Harvey wore his train outfit GJ made for the four hour train ride.
In true Lawson fashion, we hit up the pub for a drink after we found our flat. Melanie and her daughter, the owner of the flat, gave us some great suggestions of what to see.

The Lawson men found beer, wine, and cigars for the flat. Michael met his match at the cigar box. This guy had a serious beard and knew a lot about craft beer. The whole crew had fun discovering the city.

Dinner at the Rosehip was a fantastic way to end the night. We voted and the fish & chips beat out the chicken pie and the lamb.

Michael and I can’t believe we have a one year old. Harvey has brought new meaning to life. It’s been a fast year full of love, learning moments, and amazing support. We’re blessed to have family on both sides to help raise Harvey in to a young man.
