Today us Lawsons set out headed for Holyrood house. We visited that and the Edinburgh Castle, and afterward needed to wet our chaps at the first pub we saw. Instead we saw the Mary King’s Close and decided to go in after realizing that little Harvey could not. So Mick, Haley, and Harvey went to Devil’s Advocate. When the other three Lawsons entered we bought tickets and only had to wait six minutes for our tour. Once started our tour guide Sarah led us down 38 stairs into a dark room what is now called a vault but was once a bedroom. Sarah explained that poor people made houses under the buildings and streets. After, we went to the room of a family who suffered the plague. Rats with fleas are what transferred the plague. Only 5-8% of the victims lived through it. After we went to the cow stable where she explained how the cows bled, peed, and pooed there. Later we went to my favorite room where a Chinese woman was welcomed by a dead ghost girl and she ran out but later came back to give her toys.
Nice narrative Logan!
Thanks, Bill!
