Lawsons in London has come to a close

We’ve sorted it all out. London is a fantastic town for families. Everyone we’ve met has been very accommodating and willing to help.

We all love Fish and Chips, even Harvey! Michael and I cooked a southern meal for the crew one night. We had meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Yummy! Might be my favorite meal behind pizza. By the way, we had glorious pizza from Dough in Scotland. Rick and Ruth Anne wowed us with some amazing sausages for dinner last night.

On Sunday, four of us finished the color run with 18,500 other runners. The other two, Rick and Harvey, watched the Queen’s 90th birthday and a football match.

Monday started with a pleasant walk through Hyde Park. We tried to go to Westminster Abbey, but the queue was too long. We dashed off to Buckingham in the rain for a photo session for our little prince. Sticking with the palaces, we jumped on the tube to see Kensington Palace. Queen Victoria was quite a lady. Michael picked an interesting lunch spot. A Winston Churchill pub in the front and Thai restaurant in the back. Last stop for the day was Paddington Station for a wardrobe change and more pictures of Harvey and Logan.

I can’t wait to see what is in store for us in Brussels.
