Au Revoir, France

We are boarding a flight from Lyon this morning, but wanted to leave you with a few parting shots from around this beautiful region of France. I hope you enjoy!

One thousand year old Spanish olive tree at the Pont du Gard.

Hotel-Dieu, Beaune.

Tree lined avenue in Viviers.

Chateau Rully— still in the original owner’s family since the twelfth century. It’s a beautiful burden.

Olive and olive oil tasting in Provence at an olive farm run by two sisters.

Mulberry tree from the 15th or 16th century. Mulberry trees were planted to provide leaves for the silkworms when silk-making was an important industry in France.

A really old bench at Chateau Rully.

Coffee and conversation in Arles.

A sculptor’s atelier.

Notice how it looks like a flower is growing out of a flower.

Beautiful old pump at Chateau Rully.

The lovely countryside of Provence.

I guess every chateau needs a dog.
