We really must give credit where credit is due. Our neighbors to the north, the fine folks of New England, do autumn much better than we do. I assume that it is because the fall foliage is so much more spectacular there. Plus, the air gets fresher and cooler and all that really sets the mood for a season of change worthy of celebrating. In some of the classic villages of the White Mountains, they go the extra mile. Every year, area businesses participate in a Pumpkin People contest and set up hilarious Pumpkin People around the villages. This year is no different. They have returned. We saw Pumpkin People fishing and kayaking and doing all sorts of things. I am going to post some pictures of the great Pumpkin People we have seen over the last several days.
Love the pumpkin people!
Yes … indeed.., New Englanders are BIG into decorating for fall!

These are really cute and original! Pumpkins are back at the church!
Hey, wouldn’t it be funny if the church did a display from a Bible story?
